[ ANOTASI / ABSTRAK ]

Digital scales is a device generally used for weighing the load, but Digital scales can be used for calibration weight. Calibration is usually done by comparing a standard that is connected with national and international standards and certified reference materials. Calibration weight baby scales very important to keep its accurate so that need to be calibrated to a higher standard so that the measurement results can be traceable to international standards. To overcome this problem the authors make the digitalweighing scale as weight calibration processing equipped with output in the form of statistical data that will facilitate the officer calibration processing calibrations results data. The design of this digital scales using a load cell as weight sensor and a control unit ATMega8535 microcontroller where it is measurement results displayed on LCD display. This device can be used to measure loads up to 10 kg with a resulution of 1 gram, and the test results data of the load (0-10Kg) compared with LCD display, has acquired measurement data with maximum percentage error 0.15 %.
